Born out of the void of masqueraders not able to have a totally ultra-inclusive experience on the road, our introductory year was dedicated to filling this emptiness.
Created in New York in 2009, RAMAJAY INTERNATIONAL has built its brand to be a household name in the Carnival industry. Synonymous with breath-taking costumes, outstanding Customer Service and innovative themes, RAMAJAY continues to be one of the world’s premier Carnival MAS bands.
After winning a total of 9 Labor Day Parade ‘Band of the Year’ titles in New York City, RAMAJAY emerged on the Miami-Broward Carnival scene in 2017. We quickly gained a spot in South Florida’s winning circle, having won the coveted ‘Band of the Year’ title 2 times (2018 and 2021).
Throughout the years our Soca Artists list has been extremely extensive. Live performances have included Machel Montano (who penned his 2010 musical hit “Alright - RAMAJAY” in support of RAMAJAY’s debut year), Kes The Band, Kerwin DuBois, Lyrikal, Farmer Nappy, Problem Child, Jaiga, Preedy, GBM Nutron and Shal Marshall. Each year our masqueraders look forward to another high energy live performance from a surprise Soca star.
Our reputation of being the “Family Band” where our masqueraders are all considered family is solidified by our “All-Inclusive Road Party”. Inclusive of all the Carnival amenities - tasty cuisine, unlimited premium beverages, endless vibes and world-renowned DJs/Soca Artists - the RAMAJAY Road Experience is unmatched.
